With an impending lease expiry, they engaged Woodalls to embark on the ambitious project of relocating their workplace including the intricate challenge of moving a highly technical laboratory space filled with over 400 pieces of cutting-edge equipment.
The laboratory space at Te Den Bosch was not just a typical workplace - it was a hub of innovation and discovery. From state-of-the-art analytical instruments to specialised workstations for conducting experiments, it was their centre of scientific exploration.
To ensure a seamless transition, our team conducted workshops with various individuals to gain insight into the client's processes and understand how their business operated. This collaboration allowed us to delve into intricacies of their work, enabling us to customise the relocation plan to meet their unique needs. For example, each piece of specialised equipment required specific power, data, and compressed air connections, underscoring the meticulous planning and attention to detail required. Each workstation had unique requirements, from temperature controls to specialised lighting setups, showcasing the diverse range of technical intricacies our team had to navigate.
One of the most critical aspects of the project was the strict time constraints imposed by the impending lease expiration on the existing building. We worked diligently towards this cut-off date, with meticulous project management and consistent communication. This proactive approach enabled a smooth relocation process; guaranteeing successful project delivery.
Despite the complexity of the project, we delivered their new workplace seamlessly from one location to the other, so the team at TE Connectivity could be fully operational from day one. Our team worked tirelessly to ensure that each workstation was set up and operational with the specifications required for each team in the new space so they could continue their vital work without any disruptions.
The result is a vibrant hub that seamlessly brings multiple teams and their specific requirements together, fostering collaboration and innovation.
