FF&E Account Manager (12 month fixed term contract)

We have an exciting opportunity to join our FF&E team as a valued Account Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in taking ownership of new projects from initial inquiry to completion, while also maintaining strong relationships within the furniture industry. You will work closely with clients and the internal team to understand their needs, create furniture package documents, and ensure seamless communication between clients, suppliers and internal teams.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to drive sales growth and exceed revenue targets.

  • Serve as the main point of contact for assigned furniture accounts, fostering ongoing positive relationships.

  • Understand client needs and recommend suitable furniture solutions, offering design suggestions and customisation options.

  • Manage the order life cycle, coordinating with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate fulfillment for each project.

  • Stay up-to-date with new products and industry trends, effectively communicating product features and benefits.

  • Proactively address client concerns, manage expectations, and resolve any issues related to orders and product quality.

  • Monitor account performance, track sales metrics, and provide regular reporting.

  • Deliver professional and attentive service to clients at all stages of the account life cycle, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.

Skills and experience

You’ll have solid experience in sales or account management (+5 years), preferably within the furniture or design industry. You’ll have a strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to understand and convey product specifications and benefits. Additionally, you’ll have strong organisational skills, with accute attention to detail, and proficiency with procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.

The ideal candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of furniture products, materials, and market trends as well as familiarity with construction and interior design principles.
